My kingdom for FOAF help

We just got back from a lovely hibachi dinner at Takumi in Nashua. After chasing after the kids to put them in bed, I started reading the news and read about Apache adopting DOAP. I’ve created the initial DOAP file for Roller and as I was adding myself as a maintainer, I decided to *fix* my URI and changed it from http://torrez.us/elias/foaf.rdf#me to http://torrez.us/foaf#elias. I’m thinking that the latter would be better for the family (except I don’t foresee my daughter and I agreeing on her URI) and it seems less redundant. However, I have some questions for the FOAF experts because it’s late at night and I don’t want to think about this right now:
  1. Should I have a massive FOAF file for the family? or individual ones (for friends and interests)? or both?
  2. If both, should the root just have pointers (and maybe basic information) to their respective foaf files?
  3. Can someone please sort out the primaryTopic mess in the case for both foaf files?
Looking forward to some answers (*cough* *cough* Lee). PS. This is very important because once the SPARQL Calendar Demo is released next week, I need to have both my URI and FOAF file sorted out so I and Semantic Web can become one.
