SPARQL Calendar Demo is Live!
Lee has started a series of posts based on our experience hacking the SPARQL calendar demo during the 2006 W3C Tech Plenary. I definitely encourage you to read his posts for all of the details. The SPARQL calendar demo can be found live at his site. Just as the tabulator, you’ll need to do a little messing with your firefox to give us UniversalBrowserRead privileges. There are a couple of wiki pages with good information about the demo as well. There’s a slight challenge with the demo itself because it depends on temporal data. We had a good dataset for the demo in Cannes, but now as time passes, we are missing enough data to show all of its intended function. Please read the conventions we used to find calendar information in your FOAF file and help us by making more data available. Lastly, we are interested in hearing suggestions in how we can make this demo better for the purpose of showing SPARQL and Semantic Web technologies. I know it’s not the best way to show our SW work, but it’s a start and hopefully other work can emerge from this code. If you are lacking FOAF files, try any of these:About this entry
